PiYo: Day 8 (Monday) – Sweat

Got my sweat on again today! seriously love this workout but man oh man those down dogs in the core section are cray cray! my shoulders are shaking and i’m really focused on my breathing to get through it. can’t wait to see how this gets easier over time… eesh! After the PiYo sweat sesh i did some PiYo round 42 to get in a little extra burn. did the core section a couple times through and did the strength & stretch section. i really like this core & more section- it’s pretty fun! and the music rocks. i’ll leave you the music video below for inspiration to go try a PiYo live class!

Food-wise did OK… had all my food i prepped on sunday so that always makes it easier to stay on track! i’m obsessed with the bolognese sauce from protectivediet.com that was published last week. it’s so yummy!! i did go out to dinner at Trilogy Sanctuary to meet a friend and get some work done so i had the flatbread of the day- it was kind of thanksgiving/fallish with sweet potato and cranberries and apples and it was SO effing good. their food is so good and pretty darn clean but they do use a lot of oil. so semi-clean dinner! and had a smoothie as well… their smoothies are chocked full of superfoods and all serve different purposes. and are all amazing. check them out if you’re ever in san diego!!

Breakfast: shakeo + frozen cherries (1 red, 1 purple)
Lunch: Bolognese pasta + kale salad (1 green, 1 red, 1 yellow)
Dinner: Flatbread + smoothie (1 yellow, 1 purple) (Ok… it was probably a million yellows…)
