New Year’s Resolutions

So… new year’s resolutions. i always made ’em but for over a decade i kinda cheated. my new year’s resolution was always to not eat meat. which i knew i’d do, so i knew i’d succeed. see… i hate failing at things. almost as much as i hate being bad at things. so i always aimed low so i wouldn’t miss. and you know what? i stuck to my resolution every year! So is that the secret to new year’s resolutions? Aim so low that you can’t fail? HECK NO!! now i’m much more of a goal planning girl but i think of resolutions as more of life guidelines. like i have a goal of wearing skinny jeans but my resolution would be to work out 5 times a week. this year i kicked off the year with some resolutions and goals that i stuck with and some that i abandoned. is it ok to do that? OF COURSE. things change. YOU change. circumstances change. priorities change. what you think are your goals in January might completely change by the end of the year.
