Half ironman prep: day 1!

I can’t believe I almost worked today! I was only going to take off Friday and I’m sooo glad my tri bestie convinced me to take today off too! So much less stressful than trying to do everything tomorrow!

Spent the day shopping at the expo and got all checked in! The check in process was crazy easy and there were like 3 volunteers per athlete- went so quickly! The shopping on the other hand… not so quick! Hahahaha we bought like- everything! 

It’s been so much fun meeting new people and running into friends! I think this extra day has been so key in making us not feel stressed about anything! Well… besides that mountain we have to tackle on Saturday but we’ll cross that path when we get there. Til then I’m just trying to enjoy it all!
