Max:30 Day 5

Happy FRIDAY!!!! WOOT! Travel day for me so always makes things trickier BUT planning ahead = setting yourself up for success! Started my day with packing up my hotel room & not leaving enough time to work out. Bad planning there BUT don’t worry- there’s a happy ending to this story. Had a kind of hectic morning of getting to work early for a meeting and had to make my shake before the meeting so i could wash my shaker cup after my meeting. everything worked out and the shake was had and cup was washed in time for me to get to the airport on time. I did have a meeting that went kinda long and of course some dramatic things were happening right as i was trying to leave so didn’t get out the door at the time i wanted to but still got out the door in time to catch my flight! I heated up the last of my cumin tempeh + brown rice + spinach for my flight and packed up the last of my edamame to snack on. Perfect! Had my typical airport latte (i like to be super awake on flights) and got a 100 calorie bag of popcorn at the airport as a little treat. Was totally satisfied by my snacks on the flight and glad i brought them- having delicious healthy snacks in my bag made it easy to resist my normal bag of peanuts and twizzlers or sweedish fish!

As soon as i got home i didn’t even unpack or sit down… i put on my workout clothes and got busy with some max:30 sweat intervals! Such an awesome workout!!! After showering off the massive amount of sweat (TMI?) i headed to the grocery store to get my groceries for the week. Made some delicious protective diet new england chowder and had some tempeh bacon on the side. not bad for a friday night! Really proud of myself for getting in my workout after landing and not just napping or watching TV! and i had a super productive flight too and got a ton of work done… win/win!
